Rugby in Skopje

Its probably not the best time to gauge interest amongst those expats who wish to experience rugby in Skopje, due to the world cup of football, however....

At the Alexander Palace Hotel on Sunday mornings, a couple of us have, at the request of some Macedonian guys, commenced a bit of a throw around on the small open field beside the Tennis Courts.

Theres no All Blacks, Springboks or Wallabies, it's purely an opportunity for those who appreciate the oval ball game to enjoy a little comaraderie, a little friendly banter and some fun.

As the coffe shop keeping the parents of the budding Macedonian Federers and Sharapovas is on the edge of the field, the kids and other halves are also welcome and can sit and watch and provide the appropriate support to those who do or do not have any idea what they are doing.
