Taxis and children in Skopje

I will be moving to Skopje with my family, including a preschooler and an infant, in August. We are not planning to have a car, as our apartment will be walking distance from our jobs. We've been told that taxis are inexpensive and convenient for going into the city, but what does one do about child seats? Do taxis have them? If we were to bring our own, that would mean we needed to cart them around with us during our outing. What do people with small children do?
