Moving to Sofia

Hello everyone,
I'll be moving to Sofia in late January or early February.
I was wondering what are the living costs and if I can get around just by speaking english.
How much one usually spend per month with rental costs?
Is it hard to find real estate agents that speak english?
How safe is Sofia?

I'm quite new to this site so I'm not entirely sure if this has been posted in the right part of the forum.
