Daycare, babysitting, playgroups etc (St. Gallen)

Hi all, I'm an Aussie mum of 2 little ones (6 month old and almost 3 year old) and we have only been here 2 weeks, so I'm still trying to work out stuff to do with the kids. Can anyone recommend a playgroup, daycare, babysitter and activities for toddlers? Does daycare close down over summer? I'd really like to connect with some other mums, expats or locals, and give my toddler a chance to play with other kids.
