Living in St Helens

St Helens is a large town located in Merseyside in the north west of England. Whilst St Helens used to be known for being an important center of glassworks, it has now evolved and undergone much development in recent years. Known for having the most splendid station façade in England, referring to its magnificent train station, as well as a number of other sites and attractions, expats living in St Helens will find that the town has plenty to offer. Some of its major attractions include the World of Glass, a museum dedicated to St Helens’ glass production roots, as well as The North West Museum of Road Transport, The Smithy Heritage Center and more. Expats in St Helens will also be able to enjoy the town’s many outdoor spaces, Haydock Park Racecourse, a lively local nightlife which includes bars, nightclubs and theater. In addition to that, sport loving expatriates living in St Helens can have fun supporting the town’s rugby league (St. Helens Rugby League Football Club), rugby union (Liverpool St Helens F.C) and cricket (St Helens Cricket Club) teams.
