Inquiry from member from DC (St. Petersburg)

Hi,
I know that at this time of year St-P is invaded by tourists from all over the world but I am still wondering if you might recommend me nice places to chill and hang out in evening. Hints for nice bars and coffee shops are mostly appreciated. I am staying in St-P (center/Vasilevsky Ostrov) for almost a month and would like to experience more St-P’s night life.
