Pre-school start date (Stockholm)

Hi, we're looking to move to Sweden in Protected content just finalising the dates. We wanted to be in country for a while before our 5 year old needs to start pre-school. I'm aware the school year starts around mid July and I was wondering if that applies to Pre-schools as well. Perhaps a child is free to join a pre-school at any point in the year? I haven't been able to discover the answer. It would be great if you could help!
