The Sales Manager will execute the corporate business plans and strategies established for inorganic and organic peroxides by developing new sales opportunities in the oil and gas industry focusing primarily on stimulation and fracturing fluid additives, (gel breakers). Other applications of focus for new business development opportunities with inorganic peroxides include polymer initiation, soil remediation, and cleaning / disinfectant. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for key account management activities associated with organic peroxide customers.
•Develop and maintain opportunity pursuit strategies (short and long term) and sales cycle approach as well as lead strategic account contract negotiations.
•Perform and coordinate new business development activities within the U.S. sales team in alignment with the company’s business plans and strategies.
•Meet or exceed short and long term sales / margin targets as defined by established busi-ness plans and budgets.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Protected content

•Coordinate with internal marketing groups to support the continuous development and implementation of business plans and market strategies for inorganic peroxides.
•Analysis of market requirements, deduction of necessary measures in terms of product and service offerings.
•Reporting: Fiscal (annual and monthly) results, budgeting and forecasting in alignment with established business plans and strategies.
•Support new product development activities and technology projects in cooperation with R&D.
•Accurately maintain and develop prospect/client data and market intelligence via the com-pany CRM tool.
•Contribute to external marketing activities such as branding, brochures, public conferences or website content.
•5 – 7 years experience within the petrochemical and oilfield chemicals industry
•Degree in chemistry or business, MBA a plus.
•Previous sales and account management experience
•Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and plans i.e. contribution margin, gross margin, budgeting/forecasting, P&L management
•Ability to work within globally diverse sales and project teams.
•Proven track record in developing new business in the oil and gas industry with established contacts.
•Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; written and verbal.
•Leader with a high energy level, goal and achievement oriented, strong analytical thinking, ability to approach tasks in a structured and organized manner.
•Track record of effectively managing projects i.e. achievement of milestones and overall targets.
•Exceptional computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com or comparable CRM system)
