Sweden - December 2016 (Stockholm)

Hi guys,
I will be in Stockholm from Dec 1 till Dec Protected content an event and then want to head to the north (I googled that I don't necessarily have to go till Kiruna) to look at the northern lights and look at possibly go dog sledging before flying out.
I would appreciate any tips and suggestions and websites where I can book train tickets from Stockholm.
