Are companies in Sweden more inclusive of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender) employees?
Today and yesterday I was attending a business leadership forum organised by IBM with both gay and straight people to discuss how organisations can maximise the power of diversity in the workplace and translate this into success in the workplace. There was a range of experiences there but mostly it seemed as though things are quite good for LGBT staff in Swedish workplaces, with people feeling they were supported and had the opportunity to be open about their lives (including talking about what they did on the weekend).
How about you? What are your experiences of workplace attitudes towards LGBT diversity?
