Sisvel Germany GmbH, is a member of the Sisvel Group and has grown significantly in recent years. To support our ambitious plans for the future, we are now looking to strengthen our IP investment/business development team with potential involvement in licensing activities.
Therefore, we are looking to hire:
A student employee/intern (male/female), Werkstudent (m/w)
with complementary skills in business and technology
You will be involved in supporting activities related to business development and innovation: you will do this, by supporting the assessment of business opportunities, screening markets, collecting market data and the preparation of business plans. This includes, but is not limited to desk research regarding markets, technologies, companies and products, as well as the creation of financial models and landscaping studies based on your research results. You will also be involved in the monitoring and analysis of market players and their activities.
In addition, you will also support the day to day operations of our IP investment/business development and licensing teams.
Your Profile:
You should be highly motivated, possess analytical skills, work well with numbers, a logical thinker, and be passionate about new technologies. Ideally you have strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify the factors which drive markets and technologies. Attention to detail, coupled with the ability to “step back” and see the bigger picture are also important characteristics, along with a sound grasp of Excel.
Ideally, you have already gained experience in desk research and/or financial modeling during an internship at an international auditing company or an international consulting company.
PC proficiency, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is mandatory, as well as excellent verbal and written English skills.
The ideal candidate is in the process of finishing his/her bachelor degree, or is at the beginning of his/her master studies in one of the following professions: business administration, electrical-, telecommunication-, and software engineering, mathematics, physics or related fields.
We are looking for a student to start as soon as possible, for a project which is anticipated to last longer than 6 months and for up to 20 hours per week.
