To live in Tubingen, or commute from Stuttgart?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here! I've just got a job in Tubingen, and my husband and I are deciding where to live.

We're not sure whether it would be a good idea to live either in Stuttgart, or part way between Stuttgart and Tubingen, or in Tubingen itself? I'm thinking about things like social life, good gyms, shopping, activities etc...

Just interested in hearing any opinions at all, or experiences you've had.
