General Forum Questions
The Worldwide Forum is an internet message board containing member-created threads and content that is automatically accessible to all of our members worldwide. All members can access the Worldwide Forum to view and discuss a large variety of topics as well as find a wealth of information from other members regarding expat-related topics and travel, or even create their own question for our members and staff to help them with.
You can access the Worldwide Forum by clicking the 'Forums' icon in the top navigation bar, you will then see the Worldwide Forum and all its topics listed on the left hand side of the page.
For each Home Community on the InterNations platform there is an associated Local Forum. A Local Forum is an internet message board containing member-created threads and content that is specifically tailored towards each member’s specific Home Community.
Your current InterNations Community will determine which Local Forum is automatically displayed. For example, if your InterNations Community is London, then the London Forum will automatically be displayed when you visit our Local Forum section.
Yes, of course! You can easily view other Local Forums by temporarily changing your InterNations Community via the 'Community Selector'. This option can be found in the top left-hand corner of the webpage next to the InterNations logo where your current community will already be listed in yellow. By clicking on the drop-down arrow, you will see a list of InterNations Communities that are close to you or you may search for a community by entering the name of the location in the search box. You can either enter the name of the city or the name of the country where the community is located. Once you have selected a community simply click on the 'Forum' icon in the top navigation bar of the InterNations website and you will then be able to view the forum for that specific location.
