Is anyone else in Nantong?? (Suzhou)

Hi there,

I'm an American teacher of English, living in Nantong for a year (or so). I've lived in China before (Shanghai for two years) but I didn't have any trouble making friends there. Nantong is another story... I guess there are some foreigners here, but they don't seem to want to hang out, only work or drink. The Chinese people I've met are all really lovely, but they're married with kids and don't have time for friendship, I guess.

I'm happy to travel to Suzhou once in a while to meet people, but I'm wondering if there are any expats here in Nantong who'd like to do something together. I'd really like a friend or two :)
