Guidance wrt Jobs, accommodation (Sydney)

Hello Everyone,

I have finally got my PR to NSW. I would be moving to Sydney by the mid of November. I am a IT, .Net developer/ support guy with 4 years of experience.
I am searching for a Job from offshore but to no avail.

I have applied for numerous positions over seek and made some contacts of recruiters over linkedIn but this are not turning as desired.

Request esteemed members to guide me on the Job and accommodation front and help me out. Thanks in advance.
