Relocation to Sydney

Hey,

can anyone let me know how life in Sydney is? How is the standard of living and how high are the living expenses? Which residential areas would you recommend or not recommend at all? How much money do you need to earn to have a decent life (2 adults, no kids)? How is it with medical insurance and retirement insurance there?
