Schools in Sydney

I' am preparing to move from Amsterdam to Sydney this July / August and I'am looking for tips for making a good school choice. I've two kids Protected content 13 when we arrive) and getting them on a school where they can integrate smoothly has my biggest priority. Also since the location of the school will influence the choice where to live.
I' am not bonded to Sydney for my work, I will travel a lot and will have home office when I' am in Sydney. So good public transportation to city centre is not important. Also we are not city people and are looking for a leafy neighboorhood, could as well be outside to normal city boundaries.
My eldest is very into hockey and wants to play it in Sydney as well. Are there schools that specializes in hockey?
