Dancing Options sans Smoke (Taipei)

Hi all, I am wondering if you might have some ideas about what places in town would be suitable for someone to go to if they want to set the floor on fire but want no smoke? I heard Carnegie's is the only place that has that kind of an atmosphere with great music, but also heard it's a meat market, and on the few occasions I have been there I cannot really figure out if that means that whichever lady goes there past 10 PM is perceived as potential pick up material, or is there there no substance to this story? I also heard about Protected content nights. Please help if you know of any dance club/pub, need to plan a girls night birthday bash soon. I hope this does not offend anyone!
