Batumi Community (Tbilisi)

Earlier in the year I created a page on Facebook - Batumi Community Group - due to the fact that being hundreds of kilometers from Tbilisi. The Tbilisi updates and info are of no use here.

Anyway, the point of this post is to say that whilst it may look as if it was a "one day wonder" and that I have abandoned the Facebook group, it is not the case.

The fact is that Facebook has let me/us down. I have two accounts on facebook. One is used mainly to admin the group. Facebook has gone wrong for me. whichever email address I use makes no difference - BOTH email addresses go to my personal account instead of the account which administers the group. In typical FB fashion, no matter how I contact them to try to resolve this, I do not even get an acknowledgement from them. Until the problem can be resolved [ if ever ] sadly, the FB group is dead.....
