InterNations Tbilisi Official Event - Soirée Chez Ladurée
The history of Parisian tea rooms is intimately tied to the history of the Ladurée family. It all began in Protected content , when Louis Ernest ‪Ladurée‬, a man from France’s southwest, created a bakery in Paris at ‪16 rue Royale‬.

The story of the Ladurée macaron starts in the middle of the 19th century with Pierre Desfontaines, who first thought of taking two macaron shells and joining them with a delicious ganache filling. The recipe has not changed since. Amazingly, Ladurée sell over 15,000 of their famous double-decker macarons every day. They have become the most famous maker of these delicious sweet treats in the world.

The historic Paris pâtisserie Ladurée has grown at a quick pace in the last few years. The company now has dozens of stores in countries around the world. One of them was opened in Tbilisi in February of Protected content .
Your Tbilisi InterNations Community Ambassadors invite you to join us for an evening at Ladurée, or as the French say, “soirée chez Ladurée” on Saturday, 19 October, beginning at 20:00. We will enjoy a sampling of their famous macarons to accompany our welcome drink in the fancy French interior of Ladurée as well as their adjoining green atrium.
