C4 Visa renewal? (Tegucigalpa)

Hey all,

I was wondering if one can still renew the visa by just going to C4 member states.

Migration told us that we cannot do that anymore but would have to go as far as Belize or Costa Rica. Our organization relies pretty heavily on volunteers who just leave the country for a couple of days and then come back, so if that is really the rule now, we are in trouble.
