Moving to Tehran, Need your help!

Dear members of InterNations in Tehran,

I am most likely to move to Tehran for a new job soon, being a traveler, unfortunetly I don't know much about Iran.

I am negotiating an offer with a Telecom company in Tehran, can you please help me with the following:

1. In your opinion, what is the minimum offer to accept for a big city like Tehran. And what is the housing allowance I should expect?

2. What is the living expenses, mostly housing & transportation am concerned about, say for a decent neighborhood, 2 bedroom apt. with entertainment facilities.

3. As a foreigner visiting Tehran for the first time, what are the things I should bring along.

By the way I am scheduled for an initial 3 day visit to Tehran on 25th of this month.
