possible move to iran from sydney, australia (Tehran)

Hello!
My husband is looking for a possible move to Iran for work and I am after ANY information that could help if we decided to make the move. Im 30 and have 2 children, 4 and 8 weeks old so am wondering about international kindergartens for my 4 year old?
I might sound a bit naive, but is Tehran safe for foreigners? Obviously the media have a massive say in why I would be asking this question. The minute you tell people you are thinking of moving to Iran, they look at me like I have 4 heads!!
Is there a good health care system in place?
And also going to the shops/parks etc just myself and children if my husband was away? Is this possible and safe?
