Road Cycling (Tehran)

Hi Everyone,

I am new in town and I am looking for people / cyclists who wish to go for road rides (road cycling rides)? I am not sure if the sport is popular in Iran or it is at all possible to cycle in Tehran (too dangerous?). I have never seen anyone cycling around so I need help.

If you know anyone who is into road cycling, I would appreciate the introduction.

PS: Does anyone know any cycling specialist stores in Tehran?
