Sports and lifestyle in Tehran

Hi all,

I am thinking to move to Tehran to work (currently working in Dubai). As expat, I have a lot questions. I would be very grateful if someone could give some advice.

How easy and safe is the expat life? Is possible to have a acceptable expat life as a single or it is totally family oriented? Are there community activities and meetings?

I like to do sports, Is possible to do outdoor sports (running, rock climbing, hiking..) in Tehran or not too far?
I imagine I would be locate in the north of Tehran. Are there sports centers for doing swimming/yoga...?

How do you feel after the last international news about the relation of Iran vs other countries? Do you think it is still safe to go Tehran?

Is easy to rent a car? And the driving around?
