Eat, Stray, Learn: Chop a cucumber in Hebrew (Tel Aviv)

Join us for an awesome unique learning experience, stimulating all of our senses and leaving us full and satisfied :)
Our multi disciplinary morning is a combined Hebrew language and Israeli cooking class, all in a fun setting starting at our local fresh market, Shuk HaCarmel, and ending with a hands-on cooking class in Hebrew, followed by a yummy group lunch in a Bauhaus apartment nearby.

Guy Sharett, multi-talented linguist, teacher, writer and tour guide will lead us through sounds, meaning, and everyday chat while Nomi Zysblat, Professional cook and musician with a passion for hosting, will add some practical spice and flavor.
Be prepared to laugh, taste, and sing while you practice your hands-on Hebrew!

Tour will begin at 10am inside HaCarmel Market, where we will go shopping for our produce and cooking supplies. Lots of history, stories and cultural anecdotes will be shared as we stroll through the shuk.
Then we will walk for about 7 minutes to the second part of our class- learning to cook some typical seasonal Israeli dishes in a classic Tel-Aviv apartment.
Part three will be the best- chow down on our beautiful lunch.
Come hungry. Very basic Hebrew will be helpful, and no previous cooking knowledge needed :)

100 NIS per person, including lunch.
