May I leave my vehicle in Israel for 4 months? (Tel Aviv)

Hi All,

This may sound like a strange question, but I could use some help...I am a Canadian national and due to my job I will be moving to Amman, Jordan. I thinking of shipping my vehicle to Jordan as well. But I found out that I could only drive in Jordan for 8 months and they I would have to leave the country (keep my vehicle somewhere for 4 months) and then drive back for another 8 months....The only place where I would feel comfortable leaving my vehicle at, would be Israel. We have close friends in Haifa and they have no issue with parking the car in the yard. My question is about legal issues.. May I leave my car in Israel for 4 months?
