Event in Delft on July 4th - US/Dutch relations (The Hague)

On July 4, Protected content , at 10:30 am, U.S. diplomats and citizens, as well as other members of the international community, will convene a celebration at the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft, to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the US and Dutch traditions in the field of international justice. This event mirrors in part the U.S. led “Grotius Celebration” that occurred on July 4, during the Protected content Peace Conference.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
U.S. Ambassador for Global Criminal Justice, Stephen J. Rapp, and Convenor of the American NGO Coalition for the International Criminal Court, John Washburn, will both give speeches and lay a wreath at Grotius’ tomb. Renowned historian of international law, Dr. Arthur Eyffinger, will deliver a lecture and curate the educational exhibition on the Hague Tradition.
