Home Theatre Concert on Sunday 24 May (The Hague)

Dear all,

I am working as a volunteer for a lovely home theatre in The Hague. We host monthly performances in a cozy, welcoming house at Koningin Emmakade 139. Beautiful acoustics, an informal atmosphere and professional performers make for the perfect, light-hearted afternoon recitals. Following the concerts, audience members are invited to stay behind and join the performers for a chat and a good glass of wine.

Upcoming: Sunday May 24 at 15.00 PM - Poetic Music by Duo Picasso with Celia Carcia Garcia on piano and Ephraim van IJzerlooij on cello. During the performance listeners will be able to enjoy Gubaiduna's Prelude nr. 1 as well as Arvo Pärt's Spiegel im Spiegel before being transported by the various images Debussy's typically visual style of composing conjures up. The recital will be concluded by a consoling, particularly sweet and inspirational piece by Rachmaninov.
