Pakistan Festival 2010 - The Hague

Pakistani-Dutch community is celebrating Pakistan Cultural and Sports Festival on June 6th, Protected content Sportpark De Verademing Asmansweg 104, Protected content Den Haag. The festival will be open from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The objective of the Festival is to provide an opportunity to Pakistani and other communities living in the Netherlands to come together, have a family day-out, and promote our understanding of each other through a fun-full day of sports, culture, food and music. The Festival Protected content a non-profit activity.

The festival has something for everyone. There will be sports fixtures between the teams of Pakistani-Dutch Community (football, volleyball, kabaddi, kite flying and Rassa Kashi). There will be variety of Pakistani food – freshly prepared jalebi, samosas, kebabs, bar-b-cue, milk shake, ice cream and, of course, the king of fruits mango. The kids can have fun with rides and slides in the children park on the festival venue. There will be a race competition between the kids of various age and height groups.

There will, of course, be an opportunity to shop the Pakistani products – ladies garments, home textiles, food items, footballs and other sports goods.

Pakistani music will be played throughout the day, culminating in a musical evening featuring one of the leading singers from Pakistan.
