Charity Fundraising Event for Fukushima-11th March (Tokyo)

Hi everyone!

I'm a volunteer for Medicines du Monde Japon ( Protected content ) and would like to invite you to join us on 11th March Protected content a charity Fundraising evening in Tokyo to honour the victims of Fukushima. Show your support and buy your ticket today.

Five years on from the Great East Japan Earthquake which killed 15,893 people, the nightmare remains for those who live on. The disaster in Fukushima and surrounding areas resulted in more than 200,000 victims having to leave their homes, and many are still living in temporary accommodation. Medecins du Monde was on the ground supporting local communities immediately after the earthquake, and is one of the few aid agencies remaining there today – providing mental health support under the slogan “Do not forget” and “Keep up”, but we still need to do more and we can only do so with your help.

March 11th Protected content mark the five year anniversary of the tragedy and Medecins du Monde are hosting a special Fundraising evening in Toranomon, at the Andaz Tokyo Hotel. There will be a classical music concert by the renowned French tenor vocalist Matthieu Sachot and Japanese pianist Naho Sogawa. The concert will be followed by cocktails and canapes, plus, a chance to meet some of our amazing volunteers who have been working in the field helping those in greatest need.
