Enoshima Island Spa is now officially Device Free (Tokyo)

Okay, so to really relax and look at the beautiful Enoshima Ocean and view of Mt. Fuji, the last thing you want to worry about is when your bikini clad body might appear on the web after someone snaps a photo of you in the heated pool or sunning on the deck. This is the first time I have come across this effort in Japan, but the exclusive day spa on Enoshima Island called Enoshima Island Spa has banned all mobile devices in the building. All mobile phones, etc., need to be kept in your locker to preserve the privacy, quiet and peace of mind of this beautiful hot-spring/aromatherapy/heated pool/herbal sauna/shiatsu massage facility. You can now enjoy a day away from those pesky devices and know that everyone around you is respecting each other's privacy. Yes, it is sooooooo tempting to want to snap a few photos of Mt. Fuji, but more than that...a single bastion of no devices just outside of Tokyo? I'm in. Protected content
