Intending on moving to Tokyo May/June 2017

Hi,
I am just finishing a further Japanese course and my plan is to move to Tokyo in late May early June Protected content the London CFN Career Forum).

I have a BA in International Business and Japanese and over 10 years work experience in front line customer service, sales and administration.
I speak Japanese to a intermediate-upper intermediate level (somewhere between N3 and N2 however I have not bothered with any JLPT tests yet).
Due to my nationality (Norwegian) I cannot go the way of a visa sponsored English teacher, so I will have to do this the good old fashioned way.

Would any of you care to share your experience with me on how you got your jobs if you did the same?
What kind of money is it reasonable to anticipate using per month whilst job hunting?
How much a month/week do guest houses or shared houses cost?

Any information would be brilliant!
