Project engineer lead (Tokyo)





Looking for an energetic, dynamic and self-motivated technical lead to support the organization in providing 24/7 ecommerce services to its customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:
● Responsible for Ecommerce & core Infrastructure operations support, application supports (ITSM based project)
● Technical, non-technical operational liaison between multiple teams such as development, application support, business, marketing, customer support, network, security, helpdesk , Desktop, business and the offshore team.
● Incident & change request managing, service request handling, reporting and SLA adherence
● Initiating, Planning, Coordinating, Scheduling, Executing, and Monitoring the monthly preemptive maintenance (PM) that stretches for 12 hours with multiple location teams
● 24X7 Issue handling, FIR, initiating the communication, first/second level of escalation handling of issue, coordinating & follow up till closure including assisting & facilitating the team through RCA.
● Leading, coordinating & reporting the monthly & adhoc hyper monitoring
● Strictly following ITIL, making sure that timely reports are (performance, availability & capacity) are correct & delivered on time, operations design & transitions
● Creating & reviewing operational documents, assisting & guiding team
● identifying the obstacles & initiating for improvement project through continual process improvement
● Campaign/Event Management: Planning, Coordinating, Scheduling, Executing, Monitoring the periodic as well adhoc campaigns, rallies etc.
● In-charge as well as responsible for the several projects such as P2V migration, Backup, upgrade projects,


Required Skills:
● Technology: Linux, AIX, Windows Servers, VMware, Citrix Xen, thin client, VDI, Tomcat, WAS, IIS, Apache, Nginx, BPM
● Strong bilingual skills are mandatory. Ability to read, write, communicate in Japanese is a MUST
● Minimum 3 years of experience of managing, mentoring & leading the offshore
● Hands on experience on technical & non-technical BAU activities.
● Excellent client interaction skills, aggressive in gathering information from clients to achieve success
