“Without a doubt, this is one of the most exciting programs we have
ever taken on tour in Ontario. The combination of Tchaikovsky’s
Symphony No. 4 in F minor with its passion and fire on the same
bill with the exhilarating piano concerto No. 1 is proving
irresistible to our audiences,” said Maestro Kerry Stratton of the
Toronto Concert Orchestra autumn tour.

“Soloist Lang Ning Liu is exactly the artist to bring to the piano
concerto that combination of technique and poetry. The consistent
standing ovations are proof of her powerful connection with the public,”
Stratton added.

Founded in Protected content , the Toronto Concert Orchestra has an ongoing
mandate to take great orchestral music to some of the smaller cities in
the province. The current tour includes Milton, Welland, Barrie, Orillia, Markham and will finish with a grand concert on November 13 at 3:00 pm in the George Weston Recital Hall, Toronto Centre for the Arts, Protected content Street.

Included on the tour programme is the musically picturesque “Sea of Blossoms” by emerging Canadian composer, Kevin Lau, whose works have been performed by many of Canada’s finest ensembles.

Tickets for “Russian Romance” are $35.00, Student/Senior $25.00 and are available at the Toronto Centre box office or call Protected content .
