Need advice for apartment and job hunting in town (Toronto)

Hi all,

I'm moving to Toronto next month and currently looking for the place in the downtown area.
Does anyone know the fine real estate agents or any reasonable place in the area?
My budget is less than Protected content for a studio or a master room.
I don't expect the splendid condos with multiple rooms which cost way too much.

Also I will need to start looking for job opportunities as I will quit my current job to migrate in Canada.
I'd like to know what the most efficient way is to find jobs in the finance industry of Toronto.
Is there any better way other than checking Linkedin?
I have been in the backoffice of an American investment banking firm for 4 years and prefer doing something more creative next time.
