Saturday Social 17th December 2011 (Toronto)

For anyone who's interested... I am holding Jive Nation Toronto's monthly dance social on Saturday December 17th (tomorrow). (Yes, I organize social dance events). We usually hold our social at the Monarch's Pub 33, Gerrard St W. - we've been doing it for about 2 years on the last Saturday of the month and we usually get a decent crowd attend...

This Saturday is our "Festive Bash Social" to celebrate Christmas/the Holidays. The DJ (whom we know prettty well) plays Top 40 dance hits we share the floor with others and it's generally a fun time. You don't have to know how to dance modern jive (a.k.a ceroc and Leroc) - you can dance however you like, if you like. Or not dance at all. However it's another great way to meet other people in Toronto at a friendly informal event... and you can also get an idea of what modern jive actually looks like.

If you're interested in joining us we begin at 8.30pm for drinks and nibbles, the DJ starts spinning at 9.30pm Protected content . We'll be the group in the corner right by the DJ.
