Temporary Pause on FSW immigration program (Toronto)

Hi everyone,

I am applying to the FSW (Federal Skilled Worker) program and everything seems to be just fine. Yesterday, the CIC released a statement that they are placing a temporary pause on any new applications in the 29 professions that are included in the program.
Its quite surprising that the CIC waited all this time and then released news like this in the last minute!. I was wondering if anyone have heard anything else or new about this?.
