Job offer in Toulouse -payroll deductions, school?

I've been offered a permanent relocation to Toulouse by a company I am familiar with. My family and I are Canadians currently living in the USA so they will arrange for the long term visas. I realize the cost of living seems to be Protected content % higher than our current location, but I am trying to decipher the French payroll deductions. We don't speak or ready french so this will be a challenging and exciting opportunity for us if we accept. I am assuming roughly 30% for income taxes, but not sure on the social security deductions. Can anyone help provide guidance on what percent of income I can expect as net pay? We would also consider putting our daughters (6 and Protected content International school for one year before transitioning to a French school. Any suggestions?
