Insider Information (Tunis)

Hi Everybody, I'm planning to visit Tunisia (Tunis & Hammamet) in February for the first time. I've spent lots of time reading my Lonely Planet guidebook and online information, so I know about some the typical tourist attractions. As a resident, what special unique places & experiences would you share with someone who was coming to visit you?

I'm interested in small locally owned businesses, cafes, shops, crafts; as well as performances & festivals. I'd really like to hear some local live music in places where a single middle aged (young at heart) woman would feel comfortable.
