Help needed (Ulaanbaatar)

Hello, My husband and I moved to Ulaanbaatar this week for his work. It's been two days yet and we need suggestions. We have proper windows at the flat, but still there is a lot of smoke coming in leaking through the sides of the windows. I can tell because it smells like smoke a few hours after sundown. Do you have similar problems? How do you cope with them besides an air purifier? We are aware an airpurifier is a must by now but we still have to take care of the leaks from the windows. Any tips would be greatly welcomed.
