Operations Manager

My Large, International and famous client, a global giant leader in their field in Technology, is looking for an Operations Manager to work in their Dutch offices.

You will be responsible for :
-streamlining the sales processes by consistently executing on projects, tasks, and other deliverables in an efficient manner
-navigating processes to prevent unnecessary delays
-focusing on improving business processes
-using data and facts to guide decision making

What you’ll be doing…

As Operations Manager Netherlands you will be responsible for all activities
performed on behalf of Operations Department in The Netherlands.

This includes driving and managing aftersales processes including installations
and customer support roles, as well as ensuring smooth and efficient cooperation inside
the company.

Essential job functions:

• Manage and track performance of Operations department on a daily basis;
• Drive Operations team to assure high customer satisfaction and hit performance
targets;
• Ensure sales orders are scheduled and installed quickly, with least possible
customer disruption and high customer satisfaction;
• Manage Customer Support team by ensuring high customer satisfaction, and
personally address escalations;
• Provide reporting as required to manage the business;
• Develop process and procedures to maximize efficiency and high service level in
Operations department;
• Actively cooperate with other departments in the company, build and improve
processes inside the company;
• Find new and manage existing Subcontractors focusing on geographical coverage,
cost and customer satisfaction;
• Support growth to adjacent markets;
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, drive additional revenue.

The ideal candidate should have an experience in managing operations for multinational
businesses, be a strong leader by nature and bring high competence across multiple skills
and knowledges.

Essential requirements:
• University degree and/or MBA is a big advantage;
• Fluent Dutch and English language skills, spoken and written;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office products (experience with Salesforce is an
advantage);
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams for at least 3 years
• Ability to work with customers, sales, subcontractors and employees to ensure
resolution of customer issues – expert level communication skills required;
• Ability to multi task, prioritize, sense the urgency – expert level time management
skills required;
• High attention to details;
• Ability to feedback about employee contributions and feedback designed to
improve and enhance performance – expert level in employee coaching required;
• Demonstrate expert level skills in building strong relationships across functions, as
well as problem solving;
• Strong negotiation skills;
• Flexibility to perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
