Considering move to Valencia, advice appreciated

Hello all.

This is the first time I'm posting on any particular forum and was wondering if I could ask a bit of advice from expats and Valencian about moving/living in Valencia.
Originally I'm from Australia but have been living in the UK for the last 15 years.
I've visited Spain a few times and particularly love Valencia as I have been there twice now and plan to make a third trip over in the coming months.
Interested to get some advice on buying a flat with good transport links to the city and beach, if possible, and find out the whole process of buying property over there, where are good areas to look and what sort of budget to expect.
Also would like to meet some locals/expats to find out what their experiences have been of living in Valencia?
