Legal Work In BC/interviewing while living abroad? (Vancouver)
I'm a barred attorney in the US. I'd like to know if any other American lawyers were able to make the jump and practice in Canada, and what that process was like.
I'm also curious how people find work, go to interviews, etc. when they don't actually live in Vancouver/BC.
I am incredibly serious about doing this and would honestly move in a moment's notice if the right offer came my way, but in the meantime my work and home is on the east coast of America and I'm not sure if companies will take me seriously or if I will have to foot the bill on the chance that I do get an interview, etc.
Just wondering if anyone who has been through it can shed some light on the process.
