Vancouver gift stores

As you attended Ships Ahoy! past Friday, I hope you all had a great time to touch base, reconnect with old contacts and make new ones.
While preparing for a visit to Europe where I will be meeting a lot of relatives and friends I plan to bring them a little gift of Vancouver. As a result, can anyone recommend a small Vancouver specialty and in which store you can find them? Ideal is to have goods that you can consume such as soap, chocolate or small jars of jam or jelly.
