what to see in Vancouver?

Hi everyone,
How many days is really needed to see and explore Vancouver? I coming over in the end of November where my final destination will be SunPeaks, if you need snowboard lessons come and visit me there ;-). I’m going to spend 5 months in SunPeaks so I have the possibility to come back to Vancouver another period if November is not the best, according to lots of websites you have a lot of rain during that period. More or less I will be happy to take all tips on nice and beautiful trips in BC especially destinations where you can do Stand Up Paddling.
