Sailboat trip (Venice)

Dear InterNations members,
we’re organizing something amazing for our community: a sail boat trip! A whole day out in the Venetian sea with the company of global minded friends, the waves, the sun, the breeze.
During the day we’ll have the opportunity to stop in beautiful, hidden spots and take a nice refreshing swim. Boarding will be at 9am of Sunday, September 1st from Isola della Certosa (one of the Venice islands) and landing at 6pm of the same day.

The day trip itinerary is: departure from Certosa Island, sailing in front of Lido Island at open sea, anchorage at the North of Pellestrina Island for swimming, entrance in Venetian Lagoon at Malamocco and navigation through the "Canale dell'Orfano" for aperitivo time and return to Certosa Island.
An Elan 43' Sail boat, insurance, fuel, aperitivo (Prosecco and cichetti) and an expert skipper will be provided by Venice4Sea – many thanks to fellow member Augusto Lleras for helping to organize and getting a great deal with this highly qualified boat service provider in Venice.

We will take advance booking – hurry, we can accommodate only up to 11 onboard! The cost for the day trip is Protected content , therefore 45€ for each attendant if we hit 11. Of course we will and have overbookings :-)

Just a suggestion if you want to spend a whole relaxing weekend on this beautiful island so close to Venice - Isola della Certosa has a nice hotel, restaurant and bar! Useful links:
