Bank Account in Austria (Vienna)

Hello,

moving soon to Vienna to start a new job.
Does anybody have good reccommendations regarding banks in Austria?
Is there any (hidden) cost to open/manage/close a basic bank account (also an online account would be fine as I just need to keep my savings/deposit my paychecks/withdraw big dollar $$$ cash).
Which bank would you reccommend? Ah and do they have English customer service (as I don't speak any German yet)?
