China´s gonna be on our minds from the start of the Olympics on at the latest. Next week there will be a chance to get to know more about the dark sides of Middle Kingdom
On Tue., August 5th, there will be a book presentation at 10 a.m. in Café Demel (Kohlmarkt 14)of "Chinas Hoffnung" (A China More Just) by the imprisoned human rights lawyer GAO Zhisheng. I will host it and guide the discussion that will follow, including reps from Reporters Without Borders, Amnesty International and various suppressed groups like Tibetans, Uyghurs and the Falun Gong.
