Costs for a family to live in Vienna

Greetings, we are moving to Vienna as I have been offered a job which pays Protected content after tax. Currently my wife doesn't work and we have a child. Is this a decent salary in IT? Is it enough? Will we be able to buy a car or apartment ?
I currently work in Africa so I earn 3 times this so I'm not sure if this is the norm
